Right after AJ was born, my mother in law came for a visit to help us adapt to having a new baby in the house. She as such a big help, and I was so thankful to have her come. I didn’t want her to feel like it was all work and no play while she was here so my hubby and I decided we should take her out to the beach. This was our first trip out to the North Carolina coast since we’ve lived here. The instant RJ heard we were going to the beach, he was super excited. He hadn’t been to the beach since last summer when we visited my brother in San Diego. I have to say that even though the NC coast doesn’t really compare to LaJolla, it was still a nice trip and despite the terrible heat and humidity, we did enjoy ourselves. RJ was certainly giving me a run for my money though this day! No matter what momma did, I was not entertaining enough to get his attention! Oh well, we still had fun and I still love these shots!
We had such a great time out in Oregon. One of my favorite things to do out there is take photos at some of the most beautiful places you could imagine. One of these places are the homes of the two ladies who actually create the boutique items you’ll find in our store. Not only are their homes and yards gorgeous, they both have the coolest and most unique antique props you could find anywhere. I just wish I could ship up everything and bring it home with me! Here’s my little man on his ladder!
My style is usually very colorful and vibrant as evident in the majority of my work. I do this because I want to show the excitement of childhood.. the fun, silly, bright moments that make up the life of a child. I typically recommend that my clients bring bright colorful outfits to have their kids photographed in (like those we have in our boutique line), but its always fun for me when they bring something a little different, or even very special, usually a family heirloom or a baptism or christening gown. This was one of those very beautiful items and on this little angel I thought this photo would be neat to have a little more antique look then you’d typically see. Its out of my norm, but in my opinion it really captures this little girl perfectly! I hope you enjoy!
I am so excited to announce that now alongside our beautiful line of clothing we are also carrying custom knit items! This is just the beginning of our new fall/winter line and I can’t wait to share with you the great things coming in the next few months! These hats are fully customizable in color and size, but are not yet shown for sale on the website. Please send all order inquiries to us directly at forgetmenotclothing@gmail.com
Isn’t she such a beautiful model too! I’ll show you some other pictures from our session soon, but just had to get these out there asap to show off this gorgeous new introduction to our boutique line!!
Newborns are so squishy and cuddly and I love it when I can take the time to just capture awesome shots of them! This is one of my favorites! Just look at those precious little lips!!
